A diastema is a space between two adjacent teeth that can range in size.  Often time's orthodontics is used to close the spacing but there are other options to restore a diastema.  Depending on the size of the diastema, tooth colored filling material can be used to close the space.  Another option offered at our office is Repositioners, which are clear trays (much like orthodontic retainers) used to move the teeth into position.
